Verdure Fontaine French Tapestry

Verdure Fontaine: this French jacquard woven wall tapestry was inspired from a Flemish Oudenaerde tapestry, Venus and Adoni, very popular from the end of the 18th century. This version features the fantastic landscape, and shows us a provocative array of colour. It is surrounded by a filigreed floral border.
