L'Oasis I French Tapestry

L'Oasis I is a jacquard wall hanging tapestry that is inspired from the famous Tentures des Indes, set of 8 tapestries woven at the Gobelins during the 17th century. The original artwork was designed by Albert Echhout and depicts the exotic flora, fauna and natives of the Dutch colonies. These tapestries achieved great success in the 18th century.
