Le Port De Toscane: the original tapestry was woven in Beauvais at the end of the 18th century & is now part of the Mobilier National collection. The manufactuer de Beauvais was then back to classical 18th century designs after a spell of creativeness under Napoleon the 3rd. This jacquard wall art tapestry has has a garland of flowers on the top, in the foreground a magnificent bouquet next to a set of instruments. The background features The Port of Tuscany.
