Invader is a vertical-scrolling shoot-'em-up released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002. Developed by Formula and published by Xicat Interactive, it is often noted for its high difficulty and rarity, as it was primarily released in Europe. 

Gameplay and Story

• Mission: Players defend the human solar system, Alpha Nerconis, from an alien force known as "The Swarm".
• Ship Selection: Choose between two ships—the Rygotian or the Ikaben—each with distinct weapon firing patterns.
• Progression: The game features 8 unique worlds, each culminating in a large boss battle.
• Currency & Shop: Destroyed enemies drop coins that can be spent in a shop to purchase weapon upgrades, extra lives, and credits.
• Modes: Includes Arcade, Survival, Boss Attack, and a 2-player Cooperative mode via the GBA Game Link Cable.
