Licorne Captive II French Tapestry

This jacquard wall tapestry Licorne Captive, or Captive Unicorn, is a part of a set of tapestries called Chasse a la Licorne or Quest of the Unicorn, woven at the end of the 15th century now at the Cloister in New-York. In this reproduction of the original design we see a unicorn in a paddock on a blue background.
