This Belgian jacquard tapestry, Battle of Hastings II, is an extract of the queen Mathilde's tapestry. The original some 230 feet long, is in the Bayeux museum in Normandy. It describes how England was conquered by Normans. Also known as L'Embarquement. This piece adds an air of sophistication as it displays one of histories most historical moments.
