Inspired by one Renoir’s most famous works, our Luncheon of the Boating Party Tapestry replicates the original in soft woven textile. As with the original painting, the artist’s friends are shown gathered on a terrace at the Maison Fournaise restaurant overlooking the Seine. They are dressed in the colorful clothing of the 1800s and gathered around a table overflowing with wine, food, and animated conversation.
