Released in 2002 alongside the blockbuster film, Spider-Man 1 for the Game Boy Advance is a side-scrolling action-adventure game that blends platforming with "beat 'em up" combat. While it loosely follows the movie's plot, it expands the story with additional villains and missions exclusive to the handheld version.
