Verdure With Reindeer I European Tapestry

Verdure With Reindeer I is a European jacquard wall tapestry. The original tapestry was designed by Edward Burne Jones and woven by Morris & Co. It is one of the six panels illustrating the story of the Quest for the Holy Grail. this piece represents the arms of the Knights of the Round Table: Sir Gawaine, Lancelot, Hector, Perceval, Bors and Galahad among others. The original work is on display in the Birmingham museum.
