Tree of Life by Gustav Klimt Italian Tapestry

Tree of Life (Gustav Klimt) is an Italian jacquard woven wall tapestry. The artwork comes from Gustav Klimt's (1862-1918) mosaic project Tree of Life, or Stoclet Frieze, for the decoration of the dining room in the Stoclet palace in Brussels. This work has various interpretations but, the ornaments in spirals evoke the tree of life, or perhaps even the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden.
