• Unique Partners: Throughout the journey, Mario is joined by eight partners—each based on classic Mario enemies like Goombas (Goombario) or Koopas (Kooper)—who provide specialized abilities for both combat and puzzle-solving.
• Badge System: Players can customize Mario’s abilities by equipping Badges, which grant new moves or passive buffs in exchange for Badge Points (BP).
• Intermissions: Between chapters, players take control of Princess Peach in short, stealth-based segments to gather intelligence on Bowser’s plans.
